Accessibility Lift Technician Trainee – Syracuse, NY

Full-Time Positions

Location: Syracuse

Hours: Monday – Friday | 8am – 4:30pm – Limited Weekend Hours Available

Pay: $18 / $22 per Hour

Job Description:
Accessibility Solutions, Inc. is currently looking for talented and self-motivated individuals to train as accessibility lift installation and service technicians. This position involves a well-rounded set of skills such as an understanding of electronics, mechanics, technical schematics, surveying, sales, customer service, organization, and more – all of which we are prepared to train you for a successful career!

As an accessibility lift technician, you will be installing, servicing, repairing, refurbishing, and maintaining stair chairs, wheelchair lifts, and elevators in commercial and residential locations. Employees must have reliable transportation to and from work, safely operate power and hand tools, and will be required to work independently. This is a physical job and you must be able to lift 25 lbs regularly, and up to 75 lbs occasionally without assistance. You may be required to receive a physical examination, along with a drug test.

Job Requirements:

  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record
  • Have reliable transportation to and from work and be to work on time
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Able to lift up to 75 lbs
  • Able to work in the field in varied weather, job site conditions and working hours
  • Ability to accurately maintain quality control of projects and paperwork  
  • Excellent attitude & team player
